Matt Armendariz makes his Salted Caramel Almond Thumbprint Cookies by housing a gooey well of caramel inside a buttery, nut-crusted almond cookie, then finishes them off with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. It's a sophisticated treat for a sophisticated palate.
