Laura Calder's Shrimp and Zucchini Skewers

Since Cooking Channel launched recipe ratings and reviews just over a month ago, fans have been pretty vocal about which recipes are their faves.

From Gabriele and Debi's Pesto Lasagne to Bal's sweet and nutty  Vesan treat, Food People are chiming in about what they're cooking and how they've made Cooking Channel recipes their own.

Here are a few recipes that caught our eye!

Laura Calder's Shrimp and Zucchini Skewers (shown above)

Grilling season has officially kicked off, and Laura's succulent skewers are perfect for this time of year...

"This is a very easy and tasty dish. I liked threading the ribbons of zucchini between shrimp for a colorful presentation. I will keep this recipe in mind before I start up the grill." — kelleyred from Fort Worth, TX

Kelsey Nixon's Rapid Rolls

Quick, easy and irresistible — three words we like to pair with Kelsey's popular rapid rolls. Serve them at dinner-time and everyone will want seconds, and thirds.

"I have made these rolls several times now and really enjoy making them. They are so easy to make and I love that they look exactly like the ones on the show and in the picture above. I have given them to several people and they just raved about them. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out beautiful. Thank you for such a delicious recipe." — jacmen from O'Fallon, MO

David Rocco's Dessert Pizza

With David's dessert pizza, versatility is the main draw. Top it with grapes and pine nuts, apple and gorgonzola, or go all out with mascarpone and chocolate-hazlenut spread. Or follow this suggestion and try all three!

"Made the pizza dough from the recipe provided. Used grape seed oil as I wanted a neutral tasting oil. The grape pizza was delicious! I used ground almonds and pecans instead of pine nut. I used a little brown sugar and honey to top pizza. I sprinkled the crust with cinnamon and nutmeg. The hot grapes are like little mounds of sweet hot raisins/hot grapes. Trust me, they are wonderful. I also made the apple blue cheese pizza with a little cinnamon, mixed almonds/pecans drizzled with honey. The blue cheese, apples, and honey all mixed together and hot make a wonderful taste combination. These have been added to my "make again" folder. Thanks David." — Chef 565650 Jim from So. California
