Thirsty Thursday: Fall Into an Apple and Thyme Martini

By: Roberto Ferdman

It’s more than just alliteration; it’s a statement, a proclamation that Thursdays are when the weekend should really start. Kicking it off right is the key, and what better way than with a cocktail that not only takes the edge off, but tastes good too. Last week we stirred up a spicy Michelada, this week we're back with the perfect drink for ushering in the fall season.

Classic martinis are great, don't get us wrong, but spicing things up for the season is a whole lot sexier. Giada's got an Espresso martini sure to knock your socks off, and Emeril's Roasted Garlic Stuffed Olive Martini is pretty tasty. With fall knocking on our doors, and apple orchards around the country readying themselves for prime picking season, what better way to celebrate than with an Apple and Thyme Martini? Bottoms up, folks.
