Jell-O Prevents the Mayan Apocalypse with, um, Pudding

Jell-O created an ad that pokes fun at the Mayan apocalypse predictions.

Unless you've been hiding underneath a Wi-Fi-disabled rock, you know we are mere days away from when the Mayans predicted the end of the world. Could this apocalypse occur before we find out what happens on The Walking Dead? Short answer, who knows (but probably not.) In the meantime, we can at least have fun with the idea. Ignorance is bliss, after all.

Everyone’s favorite pudding manufacturer, Jell-O, has gotten in on the act by creating an ad that pokes fun at the forthcoming apocalypse. It sends a team of explorers, and Jell-O executives, deep into the jungle in order to appease the Mayan Gods with a crate of delicious chocolate pudding.

It must be noted, also, that Jell-O is not the only company to have a good time at the world's expense. Chevrolet, Carl's Jr. and T.G.I. Friday's have all created similar ads and promotions.
