Chamomile and Cognac Iced Tea

Ingredients

1 chamomile tea bag

1/2 cup apple cider 

1/2 cup cognac 

Simple syrup, as needed 

Fresh lemon juice, as needed

Fresh orange juice, as needed

Two 1-inch strips lemon peel 

Two 1-inch strips orange peel 

Directions

  1. Boil 1 cup water in a small saucepan, add the chamomile tea bag and boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the bag and chill the iced tea.
  2. Fill 2 glasses with ice. Divide the iced tea, apple cider and cognac between the glasses and stir. Stir in some simple syrup, and a splash of lemon and orange juice to taste. Add a strip of lemon and orange peel to each glass and serve.
