Ingredients

2 pounds white fish fillets, cubed

8 ounces calamari 

2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro 

1 teaspoon salt 

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 

Freshly squeezed juice of 8 to 12 limes (enough to cover the fish) 

7 cloves garlic, chopped

7 shrimp 

1 habanero pepper, seeded and chopped 

1 red onion, thinly sliced

Assorted colorful vegetables, for serving, optional

Directions

  1. Combine the fish, calamari, cilantro, salt, black pepper, lime juice, garlic, shrimp and habaneros in a bowl and toss together. Sprinkle the sliced onions on top and set in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Mix well and serve with colorful vegetables if desired.
