Justine's Classic Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

4 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen

1 cup sugar 

1 orange, zested and juiced 

1 orange, zested and juiced

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 

Directions

  1. Combine the cranberries, sugar, orange zest and juice, pumpkin pie spice and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat; cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and the cranberries have started to burst, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
