8 ounces mozzarella, cut into small cubes
If you have a metal baking dish, a low-sided metal roasting pan or even a really big cake pan, use it for this dish. You'll be glad you did. The edges of your pasta al forno will get crispy and the center will be soft and delicious. Buon appetito!

I have made this several times and I have to save it’s one of my favorites, the first time I followed the recipe it’s a lot of work however it was worth it the sugo was great. Now I make sauce ahead and freeze. Only item I skip are the eggs.
