Matcha and White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Ingredients

1 pound (4 sticks) butter

1 3/4 cups granulated sugar 

1 1/3 cups light brown sugar 

1 tablespoon matcha powder

1 tablespoon salt 

4 eggs 

1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

5 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 

1 teaspoon baking soda 

1 3/4 cups chopped white chocolate,

1 3/4 cups roughly chopped toasted macadamia nuts 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated and brown sugars, matcha powder and salt. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla extract.
  3. Slowly mix in the flour and baking soda until combined. Mix in the white chocolate until combined, followed by the macadamia nuts.
  4. Spoon 24 dollops of the batter onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, switching and rotating the sheets halfway through. Cool completely on the baking sheets.

Waste of time and ingredients...dunno what went wrong but the cookies didn’t spread at all...and even after 20 mins it was raw from inside as it had not spread even a bit
