Perini Ranch's Peach Crisp

Ingredients

6 to 8 large peaches

Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons) 

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 

1 cup all-purpose flour 

1 cup light brown sugar 

1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter, melted  

1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Peel, pit and slice the peaches. Toss the peaches in a bowl with the lemon juice to prevent browning. Place the peaches in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter and pecans if using. Mix gently until well blended and crumbly. Crumble the topping evenly over the peaches--you should be able to see some of the fruit through the topping.
  4. Bake until the peaches are tender, about 30 minutes.
