U.S. Presidents' Favorite Foods
The world's most-powerful men sure have enjoyed their grub throughout the past 230 years or so. In honor of their special day, here are some of our dear leaders' favorite chomps.

1. Ronald Reagan –– Jelly Beans
It's no secret that The Gipper loved sitting down to a big bowl of jelly beans. As a matter of fact, Reagan's campaign and subsequent presidency is generally considered to be the launching point of the Jelly Belly brand's popularity.
2. Bill Clinton –– McDonald's
He may gorge primarily on veggies nowadays, but back when he was prez there was nothing Clinton enjoyed more than Egg McMuffins and Big Macs.

3. Abraham Lincoln –– Chicken Fricassee
Honest Abe may have lived in simpler times, but that doesn't mean he liked simpler grub. Lincoln's favorite food was a finely prepared dish of chicken fricassee with herbed biscuits.

JFK was a Massachusetts guy through and through, thus his favorite food was New England clam chowder. If only he had lived to see the rise of Boston Market.

FDR was known as a man of the people, being the guy who ended the Depression and all. As such, he preferred dining on simple fare like grilled cheese sandwiches.

6. Lyndon Johnson –– Fresca
Sure, mass-produced soda isn't exactly a food, but this deserves to be noted anyways. LBJ loved Fresca so much he had a Fresca fountain installed in the White House. Stay classy, LBJ!

This seems like something someone could eat if stranded in a cabin during a zombie apocalypse, but to declare it a favorite food? Madness! No wonder these two aren't talked about too much.

8. Richard Nixon –– Cottage Cheese with Ketchup
Not only did Richard Nixon enjoy a good bowl of cottage cheese in the morning, he mixed in everyone's favorite AM pick-me-up: ketchup. You read that right.

If Ford had been president just a few decades later, a scandal may have erupted when it was revealed his favorite food was the English muffin and not the more-patriotic freedom muffin.

10. Barack Obama –– Broccoli
President Obama claims his favorite food is the bane of every kid's existence, broccoli. Now, we agree, broccoli is great. Roasting it gives it a charred crunch and an almost smoky sweetness. But a favorite food? Probably not.
