I made this cake for the 4th of July, and while the look of it was really festive and cute, the taste was lacking. It looks a lot better than it tastes! The frosting was great but the cake part was too dense and not much flavor. I know it's a white cake and I didn't over bake it. I am not sure why it didn't taste better. In addition, after cutting it, the inner circles came out of the middle and fell. I loved the idea and the look but wouldn't make it again! I would have given it a 5 star rating for the appearance alone!
