Roast Beef Packing House Sandwich

Ingredients

3 slices Jewish rye bread

3 teaspoons Russian dressing 

2 slices Swiss cheese 

4 ounces cooked roast beef brisket, sliced

2 ounces prepared coleslaw 

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground pepper 

Directions

  1. Toast 1 slice of bread (this will be the middle slice). Spread the dressing on all pieces of the bread.
  2. Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on 2 slices of the untoasted bread. Pile the brisket onto one of the slices of bread with the cheese. Put the coleslaw on the other slice of bread with the cheese. Put the toasted slice of bread on top of the meat. Sandwich the pieces together.
  3. Cook the triple decker sandwich on the flat grill until both the top and bottom pieces of bread are golden brown.
