Sammy's Romanian Steak

Ingredients

24-ounce skirt steak, pounded and tenderized

Kosher salt 

1/4 cup oil 

5 cloves garlic 

Directions

  1. Preheat the broiler to 500 degrees F.
  2. Sprinkle each side of the tenderloin with salt. Cook under the broiler for 5 minutes for rare and up to 15 minutes for well done.
  3. In a food processor, puree the oil with the garlic.
  4. Spoon the garlic puree over the steak 1 to 2 minutes before the steak is done, and then finish cooking under the broiler. Slice the meat and serve hot.
