Sizzling Watermelon

Ingredients

1 cup watermelon, cubed 

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves 

1 teaspoon crushed chile de arbol flakes 

1 teaspoon salt 

1 teaspoon sugar 

1 tablespoon orange zest 

1 packet watermelon carbonated candy, such as Pop Rocks 

Directions

  1. Combine the watermelon and one-third of the mint in an airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Mix together the chile de arbol, salt and sugar. Finely chop the remaining mint.
  3. Arrange the watermelon on a plate and sprinkle with the chile de arbol mixture. Top with the mint, orange zest and watermelon candy. Enjoy ice cold.
