To find them, Chuck Hughes follows Michigan Avenue to Slow's Bar-B-Q where Chef Brian Perrone pairs smoked St. Louis ribs with potato salad. At Hygrade Deli, Stuart Litt teaches Chuck about the art of meat with a triple-decker roast beef sandwich, aka the "Packing House." At La Pita, Chef Hassan Hamid introduces Chuck to Lebanese home cooking with a dish called Melokhieh, made with Egyptian mallow leaves. Then, he hitches a ride with Brenda Matthews who distributes fresh produce throughout city neighborhoods by way of a mobile market called Peaches and Greens. Finally, Chuck cooks up a Motown classic -- a grilled bologna sandwich with a "smosh" of potato chips -- with Chef Ariel Millan at Mercury Burger & Bar.

From fried bologna made fancy to bright lobster on pitch-black bread, these mild-mannered hometown standards go beyond the same-old-same-old and earning their bragging rights as sandwich heroes.

Bringing the funny to the Chopped Kitchen, four comics (Sinbad, Tommy Davidson, Robert Wuhl and Gillian Vigman) compete for a chance to move on to the $50,000 finale. The stars open up the first basket and get a pork delicacy and a gummy candy. In the entree round, the three remaining comedians must make jalapeno poppers palatable with beer can chicken. And with vanilla cupcakes in the final basket, transforming the ingredient becomes key for the two finalists.

With food mashups being the latest culinary trend Kelsey heads to Kimchi Taco Truck to visit the mashup master, Phil Lee. Kelsey then makes her own version of a culinary mashup by serving up a Japanese risotto, the perfect fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors. Next on the menu are apple pie and meatball sub egg rolls. Then it's a classic appetizer with a multicultural twist: Thai deviled eggs and beet pickled Hungarian deviled eggs.

Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri welcome eight celebrity contestants to the first ever Celebrity Cook-Off! The competition begins immediately as Rachael and Guy pick their teams, and after teams are picked it's time to get the party started as the teams must throw a food festival and each celebrity must cook one dish that serves 150 people. At the end of the festival the bottom two celebrities compete in a sudden death challenge, and one celeb isn't cut out for the culinary world and is eliminated from the competition.
