Season 1, Episode 7

Endless Summer

Sabin Lomac heads to Calabash, N.C., for a Calabash Stew with fresh seafood and a one-two punch of sausage and deep-fried corn at Waterfront Seafood Shack. In Miami, Fla., he finds a hidden gem at Moreno's Cuba in South Beach, famous for their traditional Lechon served with rice and beans and their nontraditional Ropa Vieja Empanada. Next, Sabin heads to Traverse City, Mich., where artisan sausage joint Wren the Butcher is serving up scratch-made Farmhouse Sausage that uses pickled veggies in a play on sausage and peppers. Their Poutine is a Canadian classic reimagined for an ooey-gooey flavor explosion. Finally, back in Scarborough, Maine, Sabin relives his childhood at Salty Bay where he can once again get his hands on their famous Clam Cakes and Fish Bits that are a quintessential Maine combo.
