Season 1, Episode 3

California Dreamin and Southern Swagger

Lobster roll expert Sabin Lomac is searching for delicious seaside fare from all over the country. At the Old 27 Grill in Fairhope, Ala., he goes all in for the Holy Cow Burger with creamy au poivre sauce, and he can't leave without trying Bill-E's Chocolate Belly, a mix of chocolate brownie and smoked pork belly with a brown sugar-bourbon glaze. In Key West, he finds Salute on the Beach, a beachfront restaurant serving fresh-daily Yellowtail Snapper Alfredo and a light grouper cake with a few surprises. Then at California's Del Mar State Beach, he tries a West Coast twist on clam chowder with crunchy chicharones at Tackle Box. Finally, in Wynwood, Fla., Sabin checks out Caja Caliente, a Cuban oasis serving Vaca Frita Tacos and a Lechon Pulled Pork Sandwich with a fried egg on top.
